Could not disagree with this more. A marriage is a common agreement between 2 people. Don't ask someone to marry you if you are not mature enough to understand what happens 3 to 4 years after marriage.

And I will turn around and disagree with this XD. Obviously you need to be mature to have a marriage, but no matter your age or maturity level, it’s possible for people to change and grow apart. Actually, regardless of maturity level there is no possible way to know how either of you will feel in 5 years time. It’s not fair to either involved if one person has grown unhappy with the rela but is staying in it “just because“.

Just my two cents, certainly not trying to cause any type of arguement as I know this can be a touchy subject.

Looking for something that’s short in terms of letter count and cool. I liked Revolt but that was taken.

Don't trust women. You know they always have a Plan B and money stashed away.

Where I'm from (not speaking for entire Sweden) we see engagement as just proof of partners being together. We call it "förlovning". We don't propose when we get engaged so there was never any talk about marriage.

It's not like this everywhere and I'm pretty sure the way we see it (where I'm from) is not uncommon amongst other "atheist" societies, at least in Europe.

And even if you did get married, and afterwards felt that "oh shit I did a huge mistake", why would you live for the rest of your life being miserable for that one decision you made? What is this, AD 381 Christianity?

Europeans can never commit. See WW2.

Don't get me started on the Swedish in that war.
