Part1. a) a)(5x-3)*(2x-5)-3x*(5+4x)

Part2. b) a) 3x - 11 = -2x + 9
b) 5∙(2x – 3) = 3∙(4x – 7)
c) 2x – 3 + 8∙(4 – x) = 5∙(4 – x) + 12
d) 2x∙(6x + 4) – 7 = 3x∙(1 + 4x) + 8

Part3. c) a) 3/5⋅x-4=7x
b) -4/11+3/4*x=9-7/15*x
c) 4/7*(x-3)=5/3

Can anyone help me out here?

First one requires FOILing. Rest look like normal distribution. Not sure why 3b had such complicated fractions compared to the others unless you copied it wrong.

1.a.
10x^2 - 25x - 6x + 15 - 15x - 12x^2
- 2x^2 - 46x + 15
You would need Quadratic Equation to solve for x if this polynomial was supposed to be set equal to 0.

2.a.
5x = 20
x = 4

2.b.
10x - 15 = 12x - 21
2x = 6
x = 3

2.c.
2x - 3 + 32 - 8x = 20 - 5x + 12
- 6x + 29 = - 5x + 32
x = -3

2.d.
12x^2 + 8x - 7 = 12x^2 + 3x + 8
5x = 15
x = 3

3.a.
3x - 20 = 35x
32x = -20
x = -20/32
x = -5/8

3.b.
- 4/11 + 45x/60 = 99/11 - 28x/60
73x/60 = 103/11
x = (103/11)*(60/73)

3.c.
4x/7 - 12/7 = 5/3
12x/21 - 36/21 = 35/21
12x/21 = 71/21
x = (71/21)*(21/12)
x = 71/12
