Hey guys. So I recently started streaming on twitch. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time but I always lacked the confidence to actually make it happen. However, I decided I am finally ready.

So this blog is going to be about my experiences with streaming on twitch and all the things I learn along the way. But if anyone wants to stop by and watch, feel free. Right now I am just streaming Hearthstone ladder.

Had to cut last nights stream early because of internet problems. Was unfortunate. But it was the first time I streamed with music playing so I got a chance to test my audio levels. I still need to talk louder. I got a book on improving your voice for public speaking a while back, but never went through it. Streaming is kind of motivating me to take it more seriously.

Streaming again tomorrow night, going to try to speak loudly and clearly and hopefully won't have connection problems.

Had a decent stream today. Got a a couple new viewers who were pretty active in chat. I think it was just timing though, streamed later in the day.

Twitch achievements went live the other day. I got all of the basic tier ones, now I'm working towards the affiliate ones. I'm close to an average of 3 viewers per stream. I notice I get more viewers after 5 pm, so I might start streaming from 5-7 instead of 4-6. Not even close to 50 followers so that one will be tough. But I like the grind. It's fun to try to work on making some high quality content. I just hope I can keep getting better at it.

Told myself I was going to try a 4-5 hour stream on the weekend but never got around to it :/ maybe this weekend I will. Still not getting any viewers but that's okay. I know it's a slow process and I just need to focus on my content quality.

Been better about streaming consistently but only for like an hour at a time and with switching up my games. But now I'm feeling more motivated to stick with Hearthstone/Super Mario 64 and try to build a following in those audiences.

Also got a Spotify premium account for playing music without needing to worry about finding a YouTube playlist.

Considering getting some kind of lighting for my webcam but probably wont do that any time soon.

Spent some time the other day working on my overlay. Nothing fancy, just colorized my webcam border and added the current song title.

Also got the Hearthstone deck tracker extension set up, so hopefully that will be working next time I stream.

Stopped streaming basically. I just decided that it is a lot of work and takes up a lot of time and there are other things I am working on right now that I value doing more.


Maybe I'll get back into it one day though.

Been streaming some wow lately and having fun with it again.
