Most converters will flash 15-20% higher than the rated speed when leaving off dead idle or downshifting. If you brake torque it rpm will be closer to the rating. I'd expect a 3000rpm stall to hit 3400-3500 WOT off idle.

If it was a GM car I could tell you if it would work or not. I haven't the faintest clue how the trans tune looks on the dodge pcm.

I hope you like it. The converter will wake it up big time and have little to no effect on fuel economy. City mileage may drop 2mpg or so.

It’s a bit hypocritical to say that I negate your car’s purpose, when you completely negate mine. My car is 100% practical for my daily life style, as your car will be to you.
