I want to save parts of a website and be able to click on links / use all functionality of what I’ve downloaded (links should work and resulting pages be offline as well). The website contains just text, drop down lists, and that’s about it. The site is essentially an e textbook.

I don’t want to download all linked pages though, just selected ones.

Any way to do this? Individually downloading pages takes away linking, and takes forever. I need the pages to link together for ease of use.

I’ll later be grabbing text and sorting as data and entering into a special sorting algorithm to ascribe values for a variety of search purposes. But for now I just want to be able to grab a site so I can work from there.

Google this: save a website with links active

Apparently Firefox and Chrome has it built in. The ability to save a website to PDF with working links.
