So as we all know by now, back in 2014 Sports Illustrated writer Ben Reiter had the front page of a Sports Illustrated issue, which boldly claimed that the Houston Astros would be 2017 World Series Champions. It was a picture of George Springer as well.
This was when they were absolute bottom feeders as well.
I mean we all knew the Astros were being managed really well, and their front office did an insanely good job of acquiring good young pieces....but still. This dude hit the jackpot in his career with this one.

yeah, was hoping they'd break out the candy corn for game 7 lol
