Hi guys,

I got this problem recently that while I was using my Pc and it suddenly stopped sending signal to the monitor, the pc did not turn off. It is as the cable in the back got disconnected suddenly although I have checked all the cables and connections and they seem fine to me, I tried connecting the monitor through the same cable to my laptop and it works ok. The computer is running fine, all the fans are spinning although it seems not to send any video output to the monitor , I have tried both connections on the GPU and still no output.

What could be the problem?

Do you know what PC components you have, as in GPU, Motherboard, CPU, Monitors, PSU etc.? Or what make/model if preassembled (example: HP Elitedesk 800)?
What output are you using? (VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, etc.)

Have you tried restarting the PC? It could be a temporary driver glitch/crash.

Try reseating the GPU in its PCI slot, or try a different PCI slot on the motherboard (don't do this while the PC is turned ON, turn it OFF first!).
And make sure power is properly connected to the GPU itself.

What do you mean by reseting the GPU in its PCI slot?

Taking the graphics card out, and putting it safely back into its current PCI slot. To eliminate any potentially faulty contact with the motherboard.

Do you see any fans spinning on the GPU itself when you power ON the PC, while the GPU is inserted?

Try reseating the RAM as well. Loose RAM can cause this.
