I honestly don't believe something like One Piece should have to be recommended to someone that names some of the most popular series and then says etc as their list...

Etc would tend to point towards you already having watched that, considering it's popularity and the few you did list.

At least tell people what you like... you can simply Google "anime like Naruto if you want personalized recommendations be a little more thorough and specific.

It's annoying as shit when someone wants recommendations and expect the people replying to put more effort into their recommendation than the OP did in their OP.
