Bought a used custom built pc and have been getting a stop error kore frequently on booting up. Wondering if anyone has any ideas for what I should do? Don’t have the money to replace with a newly built custom at this time but this worries me because I use it for my schooling, work and gaming.

What system specs does the PC have? You can check this with a tool such as Speccy - https://www.piriform.com/speccy

- Have you taken any notice of what the error specifically states?
- Do you experience any issues while in games, or have you only seen this issue when booting the PC?
- Was the OS of the previous owner formatted and a fresh OS installed when you received the PC?
- Do you know how old the PC is?

No issues while in game. Only if I boot up, sometimes happens a few times before booting up. Not sure about the OS.
Not sure about how old.

bwcw8x64.sys is related to "Killer Bandwidth Control Filter Driver".
Download and install the latest Killer LAN driver for your motherboard, found here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20990FX%20Killer/?cat=Download&os=Win1064
Grab the version from 1/15/2016

It's an issue with your network adapter or relative modules.
The fact is it shows itself in a weird way by following after POST? (i assume u have no multi boot)
To fix this just mess around with your Killer nic drivers and it will eventually solve itself (clean removal and update to latest version OR go on fallback drivers like Qualcomm Atheros)
Win8 has this sort of pre boot bsod or kernel fastcheck that prompts you with the detected error

I'd even go so far as to remove the Killer Suite altogether, then install the driver-only package direct from Killer.
