I know of a few people who has had the sleeve done and the gastric bypass done. They have done real good. Don't even look like the same people any more. Lost 100+ pounds. Glad you are deciding to get healthy. Stick with your diet after the surgery and hit the gym

my coworker got the gastric bypass done quite a few years ago. it definitely helped him lose weight, but his teeth went to shit. dentist says his gums are great, and he brushes and flosses regularly. but his teeth are still chipping and rotting in his early 40s. he googled around and found other people with the gastric bypass had the same issue. any chance the people you know have teeth problems? he's guessing it's related to vitamins/nutrients not getting absorbed well, but who knows?

Nope the people I know haven't had teeth issues but they all take vitamins daily. Like handfuls of vitamins twice a day morning and afternoon. But the people I know are younger than the guy that you are speaking of. The people I know are around my age early 30,s

full liquid diet 2 weeks pre op 2 days before clear liquid diet beef broth chicken broth, then 1 week post op clear liquid diet still. then 2 weeks liquid diet again. then you can eat blendered or diced food for 1 week/2 then u can eat regular food but your stomach only hold half a cup of food so get used to waisting alot or saving it for next meal
