I'm kind of stuck between a few. The OnePlus 5 looks pretty sweet but I think, component wise, The HTC u 11 is better. My third choice is the Google Pixel.
Anyone have/had any of these phones? LMK what you liked/disliked. They all run about the same price, but I might just go for whatever one I can win a nice bid on through ebay

I've come to this decision based off of how sick and tired I am of Apple and their scheme ways. Everytime they release a new phone, a few weeks into it, they add updates to every iPhone. Every single time these updates come out, they fuck you're phone up. I have a 5s, dad has 6s, gf has 6s, and three other friends from work have the same (6s or 6). We all are experiencing the same exact OS lag. The OS just stalls out for like 5 mins at a time and restarts on it's own. Happens randomly maybe 3 or 4 times a day. They're definitely doing this shit on purpose to drive up sales.

 ? This is why I want to switch... This doesnt really seem to be a problem with Android users and like I said, I got a 5s. I don't get a new phone until it's necessary, and now it's getting to that point. Also need a need phone because my charging port on my iPhone is fucked.

Pixel 2. Clean, non-bloatware OS, will be among the first phones to get upgrades.

i forgot to mention this, but i am shooting to get like a new/used one for under $400. That'd be most ideal, and Pixels are kinda up there

but thanks for the recommendation. what do you mean by get upgrades though? I was basically just going off of hardware

Google Nexus, Google Pixel, Google Pixel 2. Disclaimer I don't work for Google, but I have been on their Project Fi network for a year now and they have been fantastic. Pay as you go, and unmatched support.

Looks like Pixel 2 and 2XL users might be complaining about screen burn in of their OLED screens. Idk what this is about what these users are doing. , I've had 3x OLED phones a Galaxy1, Galaxy 4, and now Galaxy 7Edge... and never had screen burn-in issues.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is the best choice combining battery life, screen, price and general usability.
newer models like S8 or Note 8 just don't cut it given the cost benefit analysis.
you can find the S7 Edge cheap on ***

as for Pixel 2, avoid those until the screen issues are sorted out. Pixel first generation seem fine though.
