Hello d2jsp community!

For some time I've wondered about the Super Chests in River of Flame, act 4, but I haven't really touched the game for a while.
I read a bit back that some testing had been done, but not too much, and not very thorough.

So I decided to try it out while streaming. I rolled a map, and am now running it.

I'd like your help! Maybe if people who enjoy mapping things like this out (like me!) would run a bit aswell this common goal
could bring our community together a bit. After a lot of drama and other not-worth-mentioning-stuff.

If NickMan (I think that was the user?) who did the newest LK Pattern thread could apply his work to this instead, we might
actually get some cool data out of it.

I think, running River of Flame might be better if you want to get that Enigma. Note that this is just speculation.


Why run River of Flame instead of Lower kurast?

Pros
1. The Super Chests have patterns, just like in Lower Kurast, but these should be able to drop up to Jah/Cham
2. It's a level 85 area (monsters killed might be rewarding)
3. Runs are very fast. I was able to do 10~ second runs (and you don't need to run through Act 3 or worry about going to Act 4)
4. IT'S NEW AND COOL

Cons
1. There are only 2 Super Chests
2. It's a level 85 area (monsters hit hard)
3. Getting a good map seed was a bit difficult
4. Jah is confirmed, but Cham isn't (but should be possible, will you be the first to find it?)


I might have missed something, but for now I think this is all the info you need. Below is the map I'm currently using. Took me about
15 minutes to get it. The chests can look very different. They can look like any type of chest afaik.

Interesting. I may look into this on my Paladin, as he's the only one of my characters in Hell. The chests that you see are the only chests in RoF? How do you know which chests would be a super chest?

How will I know if it's a super chest or not? Or is it that only 2 chests can possibly spawn in river and they are super chests?

You should!

The only chests in RoF are Super Chests. They seem to always spawn together. All other poppables are corpses, skulls, etc. The hardest part for me was rolling them close to the WP.

But I managed to roll the same map seed (like the one on the screenshot) 3 times in 40 minutes. So it should be no problem getting the same or a very similar one.

Time to play is limited but I'll join on my Ele Druid when I get a chance to roll a map. GL @all.

It's not really new, I think Cham has been confirmed there

Unfortunately I don´t think it will be superior to just run the LK chests

If you want above Ber and you have a build that can handle the runs it probably is superior to LK.
E: reading over the other threads it also seems rolling a map with 3 chests is possible but one will not be in the exact same spot as the other two.

It's not new, but its not very mapped out.

I can't see any legit Cham drops in either of the incgamers threads. Only theoretical drops. Also, they discuss how many patterns contain Jah/Cham.

"there are theoretically a total of 5 Jah combinations and 3 Cham combinations on players 7/8 in 1.13. Now lets find them folks" - that's all I've found, and no Chams in the table.

I thought "we" could it more thorough.

I saw that some has 3 chests too. I'll check it out later!

EDIT: Like I said, Cham is only theoritcal so far.

In A4 hell im already fully geared though.
