And that Depends what your version of mainstream is. Locally I go to concerts in DIY spaces with artists not signed to labels. In my opinion Brainfeeder is a pretty mainstream label. Not in the sense of Justin Beiber's and Lady Gaga's but like the dudes travel the globe playing music, they release music on a large label, and they're on TV playing music. They're pretty mainstream. Not that it's pop music, just saying that there is a very large listener base for the dude. Clearly we have a thread on this website unrelated to his music talking about him, so in that regard, he's undoubtedly mainstream. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I thought mainstream standards by Jsp means, like the big shots on the telly. I see your point and agree with it. What designs you make, like gfx or some video stuff?


Edit: Their label is my main inspiration for making music for years now, been following them from the start, some dope shit on it.

I'm an Art Director / Graphic Designer so any sort of posters, packaging, album art etc. Right now focusing more on fine art and illustration.

I got an album In the making, 32 tracks at the moment and almost two years doing it. It's in beta phase, could try to share. On this one I try to present a story of a XVII c. Marquis, an Officer of Line Infantry, and I try to incorporate those wonky beats into some classical instrumentation, emulated casette tape, all made on the PC though (sounds like a set of rules in the PvM section). I got some fairly old stuff from like 2013 on the web, beware if you want to hear it though, I'm only a bedroom amateur.

Would love to see some of your work though, maybe I could get an idea for the cover art of my album, inspiration is always vital. Should I hit you up with a PM?
