Recently bought a passat 2003. Everything working well other than the fact the window+door lock stop working all of a sudden then i have to remove the fuse and re put the fuse so it work again for X amount of time until i have to repeat this process again.

What could be the problem? I'd like to find out before investing X amount of $.

Thanks for the help and wish you all an awesome week!

check the fuse contacts at the location. most cars have 2 fuseboxes and i'm betting yours is an interior fuse box. there shouldn't be any but there may be some corrosion on the contacts, which may be causing your issue. it doesn't sound like a bad lock motor or window motor

when i have corroded contacts in a small area like that, I use a q-tip dipped in CLR (calcium/lime/rust) and rub the contacts vigorously until they are nice and polished in appearance. Let it dry out then test out the connection.
