  • Open up a command prompt (Start -> Type "cmd" -> Hit Enter)
  • Type "net stop wuauserv"
  • Type "net start wuauserv"
  • Run updates again
Sometimes the Windows Update service stops working so a restart of it usually helps. If that doesn't work, let us know.

Did you attempt manually installing the update yet?

Re-do the command prompt stuff, but after you disable Windows Update, clean this folder out: "X:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download"
Replace Drive X with the drive Windows is installed to.

Re-enable Windows update and IMMEDIATELY reboot your computer.
That SHOULD clear out the corrupted updates & let you patch Windows. IF that does not work, make sure Internet Explorer 11 is enabled (Programs & Features - Turn Windows Features on or off). NO other browser will let you get the needed patches.
