Tell that to the amount of time we all put into bo3 lol
That doesn't mean it was a good game lol. Soooo much shit about Bo3 was awful, and it was much worse than Bo2. It was just an improvement over AW, which was one of the worst FPS games I had the misfortune of playing in my life.

Who said anything about being excited.. I want mw2 back
= Shock = Shock usually translates to excitement. Why would you be shocked about them continuing their model of pushing out more and more of the same games? Unless you were being sarcastic.

BO1 is worst CoD after AW..sooo many issues.
BO2 was super inconsistent, yet still fun. BO2 is my favorite CoD for FFA. Prefer many CoDs over it nonetheless.
BO3..it was fun, apart from the supply drop weapons. The melee weapons ruined the game for a while, constantly having teammates let you die, because they were knifing. They did a good job with the patches for the most part..the specialist nerfs fixed a lot of issues in the beginning, especially the tempest in SnD. I had my fun with all the SMGs before their respective nerfs. Could've done without tracker, sixth sense, and amplify, but I still embarrassed most who needed the perks to get kills. Arena was super fun, plus I loved the implementation of alternating SnD rounds. Also, Treyarch finally figured out good hit detection after failing with WaW/BO1/BO2.
I'm hopeful for BO4..assuming it's BoTG.
BO was pure fucking ass and I'm pretty close to you in agreement with it being that bad, although I put infinity warfare ahead of it, and then WaW right behind it.
Hit detection was 100000x better, you're right
Some of the perks were annoying, but those mostly weren't allowed in GBs, so that took care of that
Weapon variation was alright
Making SnD side switching was AMAZING, and I hope this never goes away. This should have been a thing from the beginning and I hate that it wasn't.
My largest concerns with Bo3 was map flow, damage consistency and abilities. Abilities were just fucking stupid, it once again worked like Bo2 did, where you'd fight someone who had a stupid host and they'd kill you with half the number of bullets it normally takes, and it'd take you twice as much to kill them as it normally takes, just like in Bo2, which was famous for bad hit detection and inconsistent weapon damage. Game where you've got a 1 burst M8, next game it literally takes 3-4 FULL bursts to the face to kill anyone lol.
Bo3 showed promise, but they always take it further. They're going to go FARTHER with the abilities and gay shit, and they'll focus less on what actually mattered, weapon variety/map flow/consistency etc.. It could be good, but I'm not at all optimistic, and that's been the best route for me with COD games, since they're almost always a let down.
