What I'm thinking about is that it is a good thing that accusations have been put forward and he's been ousted of his position as to not allow his behavior to continue (hopefully). I hope this becomes a trend and that more of these "open secrets" become public and that names get put forward. He is certainly not the only person of power in Hollywood who's acted this way over the years. It is never okay to sexually harass or assault anyone and the fact that many individuals get away with it for this amount of time and amount of victims is a tragedy.

I just like how all the comments on foxnews.com are attacking the women who were assaulted for not doing anything about it, and attacking ppl who are praising the women for their bravery in coming out. Good ppl all around.

well, that's pretty much trained behaviour now for fox viewers by now - they probably thought he was yet another one of their hosts / owners / anchors they had to bail out / fire for sexual misconduct...

I like how the msm initially didn’t really say shit about it, very few ‘celebrities’ said anything. The late night ‘comedians’ literally haven’t said a single thing about it. It took Hillary 5 days to comment. CNN wrote an article blaming the whole thing on society, because boardrooms are dominated by men & that’s how this type of thing happens. They mentioned Weinstein’s name in the first paragraph, then didn’t bring him back up until the 6th paragraph. I didn’t need another example of how hypocritical the left, but this certainly is one.

(D) and the mainstream media would never do anything to go against one of their greatest assets -Hollywood. 99% of the Hollywood elite are speaker boxes for (D). They wouldn't want to ruin that.

Political ramifications? Harvey Weinstein isn't an elected or even a candidate for office. It's pretty hard to contrive a rationale for thinking that a private citizen's grotesque behavior can be politically relevant when the POTUS is a serial sexual predator, and revelations to that effect continuously spilled out during his campaign for the presidency only for his entire party to try to hand-wave the story away. Beyond that, no one has done more than movement conservatives to establish the notion that no individual citizen can be restricted in any way from political activity of their choice.

The base story of powerful men using their positions to abuse women will eventually blow over (until the next famous predator is exposed) because it's a frequent problem in our society that doesn't get enough attention.

There is more court testimony about Trump's rape past than Weinstein....at least for now.

watching the position of power "aggressive alpha male" duplicity here is quite comical. the same people defensively claiming that Trump wasn't a sexual predator because he was just aggressive are now turning about face when its a target they want to hit.
