Not easy i agree, but education should not be only for career purpose.

I heard that most Americans don't know where Ukraine and North Korea is on the map, some don't believe that a country like Canada (to name only one) has close to 0% gun ownership and there is almost no violence as well. Starbucks worker should know that because they can vote.

Who do you hang out with and talk to?

where countries are on a blank map is pretty useless information for everyday life. starbucks workers have very little use for that information.

Starbucks workers don't have there life devoted to selling coffee, they also have the right to vote.

Basic geography is useless for voting ?
hmm

They used to provide firearm training in public schools in some states. Libs pushed to remove.

They used to have archery in the school district I went to as well. They stopped it a few years after I graduated.

1 person voting or not is virtually irrelevant and has little effect on their lives. there is little incentive for the average person to really understand political issues.
this a big part of the problem of why you get extra shitty politicians that promise free stuff and good times instead of being sound on policy.
having a 'right' to vote doesnt make it a big part of their lives.

knowing where a country is on a blank map is not an important thing to know, even as far as voting goes. there are a million more important things, many of which you have demonstrated you have no clue about.
time for a personal reality check instead of being snobby about americans.

Don't get me wrong, i love Americans, and only a minority is stupid. Some wise Americans voted Trump or cancelled there vote because they couldn't stand voting for Clinton, i can understand this.
