It seems like many Americans are proud of not being educated, because they know the "real stuff", also they elected someone to there image.

You cannot convince them to go to the education route, they think it's the wrong way, so what you can do now ?

Concentrate your efforts on future generations, be patient. Don't push too far too fast the liberal democrat action, this can help to calm down frenetic pow-pow cowboy community until they get educated.

Can you blame them for this assessment though? Why spend tens of thousands of dollars on higher education, only to end up working at Starbucks with a fucking master's degree? Maybe if we make education a more reasonable, attractive option, they might be more inclined to choose this path.

That is exactly what you said.

You equated not having enough money with being a disabled idiot.

I thought you were tolerant? Why are you shaming disabled people? Why are you shaming poor people?

Maybe he thinks that Gun Nut is already officially in the DSM.

Not easy i agree, but education should not be only for career purpose.

I heard that most Americans don't know where Ukraine and North Korea is on the map, some don't believe that a country like Canada (to name only one) has close to 0% gun ownership and there is almost no violence as well. Starbucks worker should know that because they can vote.

neither of those things are even remotely close to true.

where countries are on a blank map is pretty useless information for everyday life. starbucks workers have very little use for that information, or for "knowing" things you falsely believe.

as to the OP, training should be encouraged, not required.
there are many legitimate ways to acquire information and responsibly own a gun outside of government approved courses.

Maybe stop assuming anything about a country you more than likely know very little about
