I have a 3 min run somewhere on youtube. Back when there weren't the super speedster builds for lab.

but honestly, i cant imagine how someone does a 3m run i mean do you know the layout by mind or ?...

Yes you have to memorize the layout and the occasional random differences per area.

JohnMiller ur so wrong about this! There is different layouts every day. Some room u go right, some room u go left. It's more like 50/50. Best way to do lab fast is exactly CMBurns mentioned to memorize layout and different variations.

..if you want to get all the stuff yeah, but most of the time top right = win win

Yes, on your first run of the day, that's the direction you'll be heading in.

And then once you've seen the layout you memorize it. It takes a few runs to see the variations of each room.

Some are literally bottom right or top left. Some rooms have varying traps (tho at this point I've seen every trap variation so when I see one, I know the solve).


"top right all the time" isn't for speed running.
