It's the state claiming it has the right to the natural resource for which you must beg permission. Stealing rainwater with your roof diverts rain from going into the ground supply that cities sell to the public. Gotta make examples, yo.

Move to Somalia if you don't like government overreach dude.

Was a troll thread I made for all of you years ago. Aww, the good ole days, before your indifference toward the crazies, and the crazies, led us to Trump.

You know, I actually now believe that the golden shower crap in the dossier is true. I hadn't before, but... when you think about it, what else could be the perfect end to the shitshow other than the Russians releasing a video of a hooker peeing on our President?

I don't know when it'll come or how long it'll take for us to get there, but I expect it some day, month, or year.

What exactly is the government protecting citizens from, here? Rainwater is a pretty pure source of water. They're protecting the income they receive from taxpayers by selling that same water back to them.

Eh...

never knew this. i always thought rainwater had to be purified/clean and that's why they put the law in action

but i could def see your angle where u are coming from

Yeah.

It won't kill you, because it doesn't have bacteria/fungi in it, but it's dirty af. Raindrops form around particles of shit in the air (small bits of dirt that have been blown around, particularly bad smog, etc) so it's not clean, per se, but it's definitely safe to drink in a survival situation. Safer than any groundwater you find, even flowing water.

in germany property owners are paying a "rainfall tax" (amount depends on the size etc) for the rainfall on your property that lands in the sewers, to put it simple
yeah we have a tax for everything, but at least you are totally free to collect as much rain as you like for your own use
