Rate of fire is the frequency at which a specific weapon can fire or launch its projectiles. ... However, heat (possibly leading to weapon failure) and exhaustion of ammunition mean most automatic weapons are unlikely to sustain their cyclic rate of fire for a full minute.

this^^

Also, knowing what type of guns he had would tell us where he would've gotten them. but nobody knows that ><

According to WaPo, he had a modified AR-15 as well as an AK-47, which is ridiculously reliable at the expense of accuracy (which honestly doesn't matter that much when you're firing indiscriminately into a crowd of people).

both of which fail in a minute or so of constant fire, you know, the best way to ensure the most casualties when firing into a crowd and stuff.

I think you're really underselling the capability of these weapons.

i think, and would love to be proven wrong, that your opinions are coming directly from your bunghole.

mine however, are coming from a lifetime of shooting, the wikipedia page on automatic weapons, and part ownership in a gun store in which we sell AR15 and AK47 type semi auto clones, as well as many other semi automatic paramilitary weapons.

Several different measurements are used. The fastest and most commonly quoted rate is the cyclical rate of fire. However, heat (possibly leading to weapon failure) and exhaustion of ammunition mean most automatic weapons are unlikely to sustain their cyclic rate of fire for a full minute. That is why lower rates apply in practice and it is incorrect to describe the cyclic rate of fire as "the number of rounds a weapon can fire in one minute."

but feel free to be less vague and come with more substance.

no way?! it's crazy how convenient that is.. but unfortunately for you my dad manufactures Assault Rifles and we have plenty of AKs and ARs in the garage that we shoot out back often. I've once unloaded three consecutive clips without a single jam or barrel getting too hot.

^see how easy it is to make up bullshit on the internet?

site it or you're not pulling your opinions anywhere better than magicman

post the personal business i partially own on the internet to appease an angry kiddo and expose us to doxxing on all of the various review sites we're connected to with my personal post history, that has at times been downright immoral behavior towards other posters. you got it bud.

as to the rest of your drivel, i posted a source. care to address it?

Obviously Paddock knew that, which was why he was firing in bursts.

But as others have said...why would he need so many weapons...doesn't make sense.
