From what I've heard he had 5.56, 7.62x39, and 7.62x51 semi auto rifles. He also had bump stocks that mimic full auto fire. I'm guessing it took time to triangulate exactly what building, floor, and room the guy was in, there where a lot of high rise hotels in that area. Your guess is as good as mine on how many rounds where discharged, I'm sure we'll get a round count eventually. It sounds like he had some experience with firearms but no red flags that would prevent him from legally getting one.
