So, it's 1 in 8k to roll a 5B1G Cherrubim's Dark Pact- but why roll it at all?
If we're looking at the build it's 80% Damage and upto 100 Life right?
is 80% Increased damage ever better than a support gem?
Probably not right? So then why use this chest piece?
My argument chest piece:
The difference between level 15 and 20 Added chaos is
Flat - 99 to 148 +10% increased Chaos Damage
&
Flat - 170 to 256 +10% Increased Chaos Damage
(70% Increase in damage vs level 15 +10% Inc = 80%)
So the total increased damage is 70% + 80% + 10% (160% Increased damage vs 1 Socket)
So- being that we gain another link- what could possibly be more than 160% Increased Damage?
What about the Poison Gem? Mind you- this would be single target, so it's not an average hit upgrade- but this would give you 60% Chance to poison- and to my understanding of the skill now- you can get 5% Chance to poison on hit with jewels. Meaning you need 8 jewels to get 100% Chance to poison for a 119% MORE damage per second. But, if you're casting 6-7 times per second and poison caps out at 20 stacks. 60% Might be fine?
10% Increased life is usually about 108 life (54 life per 5%)(108 Life per 5% for my build)(So, it's double the health in my case)
It removes mana from the equation, which isn't a big deal for Berserkers- but this opens other paths for self-cast dark pact users.
has Energy shield(?? Eldrich Battery Options)(Maybe some EB MoM Shenanigans?)
Ontop of it all, you only need 2 off-color? vs 5?
