but then the villain is real good at being villainous, which doesnt happen that often

wow i love how the ending was totally not expected.
they drew it out to make it seem like it would end the exact opposite of how it did (i.e. in terms of light or dark ending)

One of the more touching animes I've seen in a while. I liked this shit lol, actually cried on a few episodes

Dude the concept is that even evil people still have people they love.
If he had to choose between those 2 people dying or living he would choose them living at any cost.

Hiro didn't change at all though, he was like that since the start.
he only ever cared for his family and friends and would do anything for them.
plus he didn't do it to save humanity as the only people he wanted to save were just those 3 people. (saving humanity was just a byproduct to his initial goal)

SEESH such a good ending, that episode just had too many feels, but that part with Donald Trump made me laugh my ass off. Going in the books as one of the worst/best english in anime.
