I'm not an economic expert by any means, but I understand the concept of a budget, and I don't see how lowering taxes is going to fix the national debt issue.

well, if you lower taxes that are holding back economic growth, while balancing it out by closing loopholes which only benefitted super rich individuals or corporations, it can work out.

but tbh i totally wouldnt expect the GOP to do the latter. I'd rather bet on their plans leading to the exact opposite.

Why do I get the feeling that the end result of this will be CEOs getting more bonuses and the overall amount of money being spent on paying off the national debt being <= what we're spending now?

access to those things doesnt mean that they will make use of this access. and when it comes to higher education... not everyone has the intellectual capacities for it.

Almost everybody can go to a trade school.

It's far more about learning discipline than intellectual capacity.

it totally is about a lack of culture and discipline. but access to higher education and birth control wont change those deficiencies.

I'm sorry but this always cracks me up. Do you really think there's just a massive amount of people out there that think, "Hey let me be pregnant for 9 months, pay for a ton of baby shit then continue paying out the ass for the next 18 years at least, it'll be worth it for the couple grand I get back that won't even touch what I have to pay all those years!"

It makes no sense.

If you start at high school it will. It's hard to go to college if you had a high school that was practically crumbling around you. Hell, you probably don't even realize what possibilities are there.

Lol.

Product of inner city high school here. My HS was about ~50 % black. There are posters, fairs and counslers all around advertising for college and talking to students. You live in an alternate reality bro.

50% black? Doesn't sound very inner city.

Sounds more like a rich area that imported diversity
