What does that even mean "these days". Nvb / nvz / nvs coa is king. Vs camp coa is king. With 5frws in fpk coa is king (also +3000 defense with barb bo over circ. Also hoto has 20repl + oaks, white doesnt. The more you survive, the more you can abuse range on nec, tanking 1 more hit on nec can mean u can do 2x/3x....10x ur dmg over time because u can abuse range when ure low. Same concept as repl on assa / sorc.
Survivavitliy > dmg one nec, its not a barb, its not a smiter, not even druid. You can literally teeth down most classes on nec if u want.
