i have researched flat earth. i never became one. my grip here was how bad "rounder heads" are at arguments.

best? arguments? are based on observable data?
time zones, why do star constellations change past the equator? seasons? up north like alaska has long nights in winter and long days in summer.
what model best explains it?
all i can think of at the moment.

people typically believe what they are taught or they might 'believe something in rebellion. it doest help when it seems most people cant make reasoned arguments which just makes everything confused.

i dont think they mean flat as in 1 dimensional

what motivates a person to believe in a flat earth? consider the following?
the government teaches the world is round. the government is also a bunch of thieves and liars.
its natural for a person to consider an alternate view point that opposes such an institution.

Earth is flat, all the other planets we observe are a globe/round.
