Prove it. How many lifter who competes at IPF worlds do you know? Few of my friends are elite lifters and medalists and they are not using. One of my athletes will be going to worlds in the next 2-3 years and he will be competitive. He squatted his 1st 500 lbs squat at 18 years old at a BW of 183....2 years after starting training under my supervision he went from 300 lbs to 500 lbs. Steroids?

Sigh, enjoy your delusions.

There is some but it's not quite the same proportion compared to Olympic weightlifting. There is a big correlation between money and drugs in sports.

This

Money makes the world go round. There is no money in powerlifting, which means there are no cover ups, no people protected by the industry, you'd spend more on gear than you earn 100 fold

Compare that to MMA or NFL, where using and not using is the difference between having your life made or going back to work your day job for the rest of your life

Just now money incentives are starting to lure lifters (US Open) and what do you know, its untested

500 lbs is not impressive if we're taking competition, he's in good shape to come last though! . Not to mention your anecdotal evidence is about is good as me making a light hearted joke, worthless.

As the WR is in the mid 600's juniors (23 years old) and a 600 lbs on a worlds stage pretty much grant you a podium yes 500 is impressive at 18 years old. It was a nationals record for subjuniors at the time...talk about competitiveness. Anecdotal evidence is still evidence even if it's not 100% conclusive...which is already a lot compared to what you have provided as evidence. ;)

As I said it was a light hearted joke that made people shit themselves. I know I'm joking around, once your learn what you're saying is a joke too than we'll be at the same spot.

And don't ever, ever in an actual intelligent conversation claim anacdotal evidence is worth anything, granted this is obviously not one but for future, please for the love of all things. Oh hey well Bobby fuck wad at the bar said..

Joke or not you were wrong about a few things which is why I corrected you. (Needs of drugs to be competitive, 500 lbs squat not being impressive at 18).

Evidence like that tend to piles up it's far from an isolated case. If you are saying the anecdotal evidence I presented you don't prove you wrong you are free to counter it with facts. Good luck m8.
