is there even a single movie based on PC game that is actually half decent?

The Warcraft movie has more bad things about it than good things .. but there are some redeeming qualities to it.

That means it's bad lol.

I can think of a couple that have been alright at least though

First Resident Evil was alright enough, same with the first Tomb Raider. Neither of them were like special or anything, but they were mildly entertaining films. Daniel Craig before he was Bond is always something that I love seeing, it's funny that his character in Tomb Raider is pretty close to his bond.
I liked Hitman with Olyphant. I wouldn't say it's a great movie or anything, but a solid 6-6.5/10 I feel is a fair assessment for it. Had some halfway decent action scenes and Olyphant is just one of those actors that I love.
and then there's been a number of animated game to movie adaptations that have been okay to pretty damn good. My favorite of the bunch if probably FF7 Advent Children, which I know is a sequel to the game, but I enjoyed it a lot, and the animation for when it came out (and even for now), was absolutely fucking insane. It's absolutely insane to me that that shit came out in 2005.



Why did you specify PC? Seems like most games that have been turned into movies were console games or at least PC+console games. I think tombraider came out on console first and then PC, but I'm not 100% sure. Not that it matters or anything, just thought that was odd.

Not really. My favorite game to movie is probably Max Payne though just because Mark Wahlberg.

I don't think game to animated movies count. It is a lot easier to make those good. Usually those are made by people who have passion and they have less studio meddling.

Chick wears a tanktop will make her look sexxxy as fuck. I gotta rewatch those other Tomb Raider movies again.

Silent hill was alright actually and Max Payne had good potential but sucked, I thought it was very well filmed and had same atmosphere that you had in a game but overall it sucked

ACTUALLY the first mortal kombat movie was and still is the only good movie based on a game

this looks better then the other tomb raider movie

When was the last time you watched that movie? I love that movie, but I don't love it because it's good, I love it because of how horrible it is.

MK is one of the greatest movies of all time, that fight against Sub Zero was epic
