yea i touched on the godot game engine a little bit in op, but i do game development stuff, a workstation if you will. have it paired with a rx 480 if that matters
thanks, was thinking of ryzen 1700 tbh but i do game at 144hz/1080p so kinda of want as much frames i can get and right now with the 2600k most games hold up nicely (path of exile, c9, soul worker)
Well wait a bit, shit gonna happen the next few generations, while your 2600k still have some life in it.

Well only feel bad for the people who have upgraded pretty much each generation.
Personally i went from an Q6600 to 4790k. And next upgrade I wanna see some increase in multicore performance while keeping the top singlecore performance.
