Thorough argument. Indeed I'm the one who looks dumb here.

Correct you are.

Still yet to hear anything more than a "but no ur wrong" from anyone here.

I explain with statistical evidence why Wade was better in his best season than Kobe in his, by a lot, in nearly every way, and the only response is that smart ppl totally think Kobe is better so he must be.

Always willing to change my mind if proposed sufficient evidence.

What is evidence to you? Go watch fucking basketball.

There's a reason why when discussing top players of all time kobe is almost ALWAYS the 2nd sg listed..

Kobe gets argued for top 5 player of all time, never have I ever seen/heard of Wade even getting argued for top 15

Kobe was the more dynamic scorer. His post game was unstoppable. He could slash or pull up from the 3 or kill you with his mid range game. Also I'd choose kobe over wade on defense if it came down to the last play. Kobe offensive arsenal was too much to guard 1on1.

And yes wade had better stats during their peaks dosent necessarily mean Wade>Kobe. People who really love the sport and watches basketball would take prime kobe over wade any day.

If Kobe's post game was unstoppable, he wouldn't be such an inefficient scorer. Wade put up only slightly less points than Kobe on better efficiency, so how is Kobe's offensive arsenal better? And that's not even taking into account Wade's significantly superior passing ability.

Frankly, people just misremember Kobe's actual play. It's just the deification of legend.

Wade's best season was better than Kobe's. Simple fact.

Nobody's talking about careers.

Of course Kobe had the better career. Though Wade's not far behind.

Although top 5 for Kobe is outlandish.

I wouldn't say a peak is just one season. It's at least 3 consecutive.
Look at Wade's one year, fine, but his years before and his years after aren't as good.
