Everything other than a GPU is ordered and physically installed. Please don't make me feel bad and tell me I should've ordered a different MOBO and so forth. I just would greatly appreciate help and opinions picking out my GPU.

I won't be using this computer for much stressful stuff. The game of choice and basically the only thing I'll be doing is League of Legends. 120hz 1080p monitor at the moment, willing to upgrade, but don't feel a need to.

Q 1: Is a 1060 for now with my current monitor good, or is it bottlenecking a good PC, etc.
Q 2: What GPU is good for this setup. Lol

Yeah, a GTX 1060 would be fine.
I would get the 6GB one...just in case you get a bigger monitor.

Frankly I would spend more, in the event I upgrade my monitor later on. But the one thing I don't want is to get a 1060 if there's any chance it doesn't 100% keep up with my current monitor and i7 7700k.

It sounds like it will. However I don't know enough about it to be sold on purchasing one.

At 1080, the GTX 1060 6GB will be able to "keep up with your monitor" in League of Legends.

If you think you may move up to a 1440 monitor, then get a GTX 1070.

if a gtx 950 can easily handle league of legends at 4k i would imagine a 1060 shreds it excessively at 1440p since the diff here is huge..
it's a very non demanding title...

easily 100+ fps at 4k with max settings, 950 is not much weaker than this. I don't know if you're just mystified by the idea of '4K' or vastly overestimated how demanding this game is
