Thinking about buying a new one and wonder what you gals and guys ride.

Thinking about the vertex 950 rsl from RM.

Hardtail is a must for me. Price range 1500-3500 used or new.

lol, I'd be amazed If I could even pull 225. Sprained my left foot racing my dirtbike then broke my right ankle training on the dirtbike this summer. I'm a piece of shit for sure.

2 Bikes you might consider that meet your budget

1. Specialized Chisel Expert ($2000 range or less depending on components)

2. Cannondale F-SI Carbon series ($2000-$3000 depending on which model and components)

These are great mountain bikes.

I would very much consider buying a used bike to save yourself some money. Pinkbike.com is a reputable site where you can search for great quality used mountain bikes and save yourself a TON of money.
