Doing some changes and upgrades. Moving to an liquid cooler for CPU, and thought I'd look into upgrading to a single AIO 1080TI over my SLI 980TIs.

I'd sell my two 980TI's to get the budget for the new gpu.

thoughts?

2x 980 Ti is about equivalent to a 1080 Ti gaming wise, so it's up to you really.

One 1080 Ti will definitely use a lot less power that 2x 980 Ti.

What should I look to get for both of the 980ti's, and what should I spend that on for the aio 1080ti?

When you say an AIO 1080 Ti, do you mean one with hybrid or water cooling?

I dunno. I would think Rikuo would have an answer to that. He has his GPUs water cooled I believe.
There are probably a few others who are up on water cooled GPUs, either by loop or stand alone.

Maybe in the 5 games that support SLI well enough to yield that type of results. In most cases, no. Not even close.

Waste of money unless you play games without sli support.

The guy has said he wants to get a 1080 Ti with the GPU water cooler.
Unfortunately I can't answer that.
