So I've never understood this. An attacker is in the box and takes a shot, then gets absolutely wiped out by the goalie or a defender. Anywhere else on the field it's a minimum of a yellow card, but if they miss the shot it's not even a foul?

yeah i find this annoying as well, you cant get a free pass just because the striker got to take a shot
but all refs are doing it so at least it consistent xddd

yeah. the game is way too subjective and referees can't get a significant enough proportion of decisions right. they should crack down on things like that

take one of zlatans early goals last season. he was thru 1v1 with the keeper, the keeper lunged studs first into his thigh/knee right after he kicked the ball. if he doesn't score, thats a red 100% of the time. i feel like there should be some punishment
