I used to host a few level 28 PvP tournaments in PoE with the best standard and hardcore duelers (both can duel each other now) and it did require skill and was very fun to watch. The only downside is that those builds are worth 500ex 1000ex etc. Super expensive but the tactics and skills used were impressive. It was really fun and required skill. You have to see it yourself to understand. And this is coming from someone who used to be good at Diablo 2 hardcore PvP.
