To be fair it's still summer and my room does mimic outside temps. Also for the last like, 11 years ive been using comps in this room daily and only recently having this problem really hit hard. (Although I did fry a laptop like a decade ago haha.)

Well every year manufacturers push the speed of various components faster and faster.

Back in the old days you could run anything in any heat, pretty much. You can add fans, but they're just gonna blow that hot room air into your comp.
Thermal pads or thermal paste can be re-applied, but as for the motherboard chip-set, which is really the only hot thing you have... requires removing the motherboard heat sinks.

The problem may also be under the very large heatsinks, which are on the VRMs.

Like I said..cool down the room.


/e Hopefully, your issue is just a conflict with your BIOS and some less than well thought out MS Windows Updates.
So try the BIOS update as well...with MSI's help.
