So I finally have my gear on my latest build sorted and am thinking about dropping belt of the deceiver for a rare leather. If I do this I would be free to use what ever amulet in maps I wanted and just swap for it back before bosses while staying res capped. I was thinking about grabbing a Bisco's Collar for general mapping but had a question about how it worked.

Does Rarity or Quantity affect map drops? If so which stat between them should I focus on when buying for more/better maps?

I've never played a magic find build and usually had so little on gear if it does affect map drops I could not notice it, so I'm not sure how map drops are affected by gear, if at all.

Thanks

Rarity is quality of the item dropped, so higher chance of rare items

Quantity is the amount of items dropped

so quantity is more important imo

Quantity on gears does not effect map drops. Only quantity rolled on the map effects the ratio of map drops, such as chisel.

Bisco is general used for finding currency items from trash mobs, like alch, scouring, 6 socket items, etc....

if you're not gimping your killspeed that much, biscos collar is well worth it imo if you can get one with decent quantity.

TONS of 6s items and other general goodies.

I picked one up already 149/89 can't tell any difference in killspeed, 6l starforge + belly and perma flask uptime melts mobs as fast as i can sprint maps. I swap it out for a pure dps amulet for t16 bosses only.

Hit the nail on the head about the 6s in the past day I've sold and banked about 400 jeweler worth of 6s, before on an average day would pick up probably 150-200. Will pay for the investment in a very short bit I'm assuming.

yeah i paid 130c for mine which is 20/123/90 and ive more than made my money back I'm sure. Each 6s is almost a chaos, and im sure i get way more cards and currency as well

I was gonna buy it a week or so before and was turned off by hte price and waited a bit. Wish i bought it asap ;/.

it's also vpretty nice with frogs or rats. Seeing all the frogs explode and then all the drops <3
