Wondering what the problem could be!

When I'm playing DoTA occasionally my screen will freeze up, basically a lag spike. It happens every hour or two and lasts for like 5 seconds.

Other problem is on YouTube when I'm watching videos the whole browser will stop working and freeze and sometimes where the video would
Play on YouTube, goes green

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you made sure you have the latest drivers? If yes, have you tried re-installing your graphics drivers (if Nvidia used "Custom Install" -> "Clean Install" during the install)?
- If you're unsure how to find your drivers, post your PC specs so we can help you. You can use a tool like Speccy to get your specs: https://www.piriform.com/speccy

Do you know if the PC is running hot when playing games? You can monitor temperatures with software such as HWMonitor: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Also what browser are you experiencing the YouTube video issues?
And what Windows version? And is Windows fully updated?

Try their UK domain, that works for me. I was also having some issues on their other domains.

Your original problem or the Nvidia download one? ^_^

If you want to be absolutely sure nothing carries over from the previous Nvidia driver installation, if in fact that was the cause of your original issue, you can use a tool such as DDU (display driver uninstaller).
The tool will allow you to boot to safe mode and remove all traces of the previous driver. Then you just reboot and install the latest driver from Nvidia's site, preferably as "custom install" -> "clean install".
