I guess the downside I see is...

As a Netflix user with 2 DVD allowance, is this service actually worth it if I can "eventually" see the movies on DVD under the service I am already using. It just would require me wait longer.

It's always worth seeing a movie on the big screen if you can. Unless it is like mainly talking. But anything with some sort of visual spectacul is worth.

According to an article I just read, my two closest theaters in Massachusetts do accept moviepass. One theater is AMC, the other is showcase.

For $10 a month, I don't see any negatives. I may not spend $120 a year at the movies, but this allows me to see movies I wouldn't necessarily pay to see, and is something to do.

Yeah it gives me a routine and like you said I will see things I wouldn't normally go see. I usually don't go see movies in general unless it's a new Star Wars or something major and I've already seen like 7 in my first month of having it

The biggest downside is having to be in cinema. Until they implement this anyway

This is awesome. I fucking wish something like this was possible. This is why I don't go to midnight releases anymore, I've found that those usually have by far the worst audiences.

Would be more economical to have a smaller dome and have people pay to go in it, with a bouncer and a zero tolerance policy.

There is a VIP theater near where I live. It's like $5-$8 more expensive but totally worth it. 18+ only. Better seats. People usually stfu during the movie because we all pay a premium to not be annoyed by children or bullshit.

I'm sure movie pass works at the VIP theater too
