So after thinking my Evo X at 330-350 AWHP was fast shit( before the garbage SST killed itself), I finally got the chance to ride in a car that I think can globally considers as fast.... 703 RWHP , car is a 2015 mustang GT, Procharged sitting on 12lbs
Kept talking to a coworker about his car and he finally drove it in on a nice day and took me for a ride. Thing is brutally fast,, hands down fastest car I've ever been in. Said it killed multiple hellcats at the track a few weeks back and that he was feeling pretty damn good about the car until....
He decided to run against 2 C5Zs that were boosted and said he got raped. He's now starting to build the car more because he wants to compete with them but unsure on how to even project HP needed to compete with them.
So how do you even begin to calculate this? Again this is a rough estimate and for the sake of the calculation, lets assume same procharger on same level of boost for both vehicles.
The 600Lb weight difference, aerodynamics obviously come into play but what else factors in?
Just simply making power to weight match?
703hp in 3100lb = same power to weight as 840Hp at 3700lb?
Again absolutely clueless on this and just making guesses, sorry if it's a dumb question, just not sure where else to ask
