Straight pipes are for offroad and track use only.

If you straight pipe your street car, you're a huge douchecanoe.

20% street 80% track tho

But there are stupid track down here that doesnt allow straight pipe lol

Cops in my area dont even care about noise

If they see its not stock, or hear its a little bit louder than normal they give u a 162$ ticket and 24 hours to remove the exhaust,

no need for DB test..........

Its a very quiet city now tho which is a good thing.

I just can't see how they could put lets say a 90 DB limit for all cars, when some stock cars / motorcycles already exceed that limit.

Stupid parts stores, even Canadian Tire sell illegal parts (for street) and they only mention it in very very small letters somewhere almost hidden to human eye. Imo the seller needs to have more responsablility. Its too easy to just say hey, your problem you got a ticket, you should have called the local police station to see applicable laws in your city....

But anyway, most people don't agree with me

Yeah... I'm an American Libertarian so I think you should be able to buy anything you want. We routinely drive race cars around on the street here and the cops don't fuck with us as long as we behave like we have some sense.

They will chase you like a fuckin criminal and do crazy dangerous manoeuvres that put many people life in danger just to give you that muffler tickets haha

Same here, they don't mind it loud for the most part, but they will nail your ass for racing, or exhibition driving, or really loud exhaust like no mufflers at all. I have gotten quite a few excessive noise ticket in Michigan on my Harley, running ghost cut pipes straight pipes with no baffles (stamped for offroad use only right on them), it's loud as shit. So loud other guys I ride with wont ride on that side of me or behind me...lol But here they give you a "Repair and Report" ticket, so I just have to put the original exhaust back on it and have it inspected by state police within two weeks to avoid a fine. Then I go home and swap em back again.
