Hey I'm back!

I've been away from this subforum some time but I've figured my new journey could help a few of you. In the past year my body weight was around 190 most of the time. However I've had problems with one of my hip flexor coming out of Nationals and after doing like 6 weeks of weightlifting. I was still training but mostly to maintain my weight and my muscle mass.

Then I went to work at the gymnastic summer camp and in 7 weeks my body weight dropped from 191 to 175... Ouch haha! To come out of this hole I've decided to take macro coaching from Avatar Nutrition and I'm liking it so far so I'm gonna post my progress and I'm hoping it will motivate some of you to take up this adventure with me.

See you around

It's it's run by Mark(MD and CEO), Layne(PhD) and Katie(MD). I really like the concept and it's going to keep my accountable to something which gonna drive more progress especially when I get to a plateau.

Training wise I had planned to start with above average frequency (3x squat, 2x dead, 3x bench) and lowish intensity bu after a week I wasn't recovering well. My bloc that was supposed to be 4 weeks is gonna get stretched out over 5-5½ weeks. Slower progression but I need to get my body adapted to weight again if I want to be competitive again. I'll be reading ''No weaknesses'' by Travis Mash and I'm gonna use it to build my next bloc so I can get a stronger base and avoid injuries before I start going into heavier weights.

Avatar does seem to be a working bandwagon - I did the extreme weight loss setting and dropped a wee bit over 15lbs the first month.

The facebook group killed the whole thing for me though lol. It is like the Cult of Avatar on there - blasphemers be burned and cliques abound.

Mostly non compliant as I've not managed to record macros as much but I,m sure I was pretty close since my birthday.

This morning while I'm entering week 6. I've asked for a switch between fat and carb to make it easier to hit fat. I'm planning to be compliant this week to see how they adjust overall macros.

Weight-in #6: 82.6 kg/ lbs (Week: +1.2 kg/Total: +2.6 kg)
Week 6 Macros:
P: 169
F: 127
C: 500
