Joffrey was an amazing character. An annoying piece of shit, but one of my favourite in the series for sure. Liked him more than Ramsey as a twisted ultra-evil monster.

Quite often things didn't happen when he was on screen though. Tywin and Tyrion would mock and defy him (sometimes others too), and the writers made it look like shit was about to hit the fan, but they'd always get away with it



Not that I have anything against Jorah, but I was really disappointed to see him instead of Davos on the poll. (Brienne or The Hound would have also been better picks imo).

Friend of mine is a huge fan and bought the entire series on bluray. Could explain everything that happend in every little detail.
Sometimes we just sat down, having some beers, ordering pizza and watching a couple of episodes.

Probably that's what kept me going.

Maybe I will finish it, stopped in the middle of season 6, just waiting for my friend to buy season 7 on bluray so we can watch it together ^^

Some people like Jorah. I can't possibly imagine that he's anyone's favorite, but there has to be some weirdo out there. Look how strange GoT is... We've got a incestial, child murdering piece of shit who everyone loves now and thinks is some promised prince, even though it makes no fucking sense.

Jamie as TPTWP makes sense.

The prince is said to have a song, the song of Ice and Fire. It's already been established that John is the song of Ice and Fire, and now we know that he's a prince.... In the very episode that they spelled out who TPTWP is, you've got thousands of people losing their shit that it's someone else. They really couldn't have made it anymore fucking clear who it is lol.

We'll see of course. GRRM has thrown twists and turns before, but this seems pretty fucking painfully straightforward.

This is why Jamie makes sense in my mind. Our first w. Jamie is him launching little B out of a window while fucking his sister. He's done a 180 and is fighting "the good fight" EDIT: As we wind down, things are going become a bit more telegraphed and straight forward. We just don't have enough time for writers / GRRM to make new and crazy twists like if it were the 3rd season.

To your point, it could be the fucking hound for all we know.

The thing is, you and so many others just want it to be Jamie because you like him. Literally everything about the prophecy matches up with John, none of it fits Jamie. They change a lot of shit, but they won't change a plot point this big because he's a fan favorite now


Edit : He's not even a prince/princess lol. I know a lot of people think it's not literal, but they've spent this entire time building to it being John, and in the episode that they reveal (what we already knew for fucking years) that John is an actual Prince, and not a bastard, people just can't accept that it's going to be him. I agree that he's pretty fucking boring/bland or w/e, but it has to be him. Otherwise, decades of foreshadowing and careful and clever planning/writing were all just misdirection to make a guy who needs to die (regardless of wether or not he's redeemed himself kind of) the hero of the whole fucking thing.
