I went to download a youtube downloaded which read safe with several virus scans yet it still had a trojan.

Anyone know how to remove this shit?

Just adding to the above, moving forward it might be a useful idea for you to install a tool such as Malwarebytes ( https://www.malwarebytes.com/ ) to prevent these type of adware files (and worse) from being installed or downloaded onto your PC.

ADware isn't a trojan. I wouldn't worry too much. I use Advanced System Care by io-bit tech. I'm not the kind of person who usually uses Anti-virus softwares, but this one was worth the cost. I purchased Advanced system care pro, and Iobit anti-malware...It's available here http://www.iobit.com/en/store.php They do have a free version, but it nags a lot... It's a good chioice to remove malware, and also improve system performance as well.

I am also a multi and I can recommend PC Optimizer Pro I can recommend this software wholeheartedly for personal or business use for "improve system performance as well."

But if you suspect you've been infected with malware, then the free version's scanner is just as good as the premium one, yes.
