What about a 600-620W PSU? Would that still be too low?

Also, you Americans are so lucky. Not only are your prices lower in general, but they go even lower for in-store deals. Sigh.

500gb Samsung EVO 850 is $110 USD in-store at Fry's. I know I only need 250 but at this price, might as well? (if I could, but I can't).

Thanks for the guidelines. I have a ton of questions, basically about every part :P

CPU: Decided to go with the Ryzen 5 1600 over i5, but is it worth it to upgrade to the 1600x? The 1600 is a bit cheaper and comes with a cooler, which saves even more money. I don't plan on overclocking, but I could always buy a separate cooler later if I really wanted to?

Mobo: Not really sure what I'm looking at here, if someone could give me some details that'd be great.

RAM: The G Skill brand seems to be the cheapest at every speed, any reason for this? Any reason to avoid the brand? 3,000Mhz being the minimum, how important is it to aim higher?

SSD: Every brand has about the same price for their 240-256GB SSD (give or take $5-10). Any reason to pick one brand over the other or should I just see which one has the largest price drop?

GPU: How to differentiate between multiple types of 6GB 1060s?

PSU: Minimum wattage? Does gold/bronze matter for me? Important to stick to certain brands like EVGA, SeaSonic, Superflower, Corsair RMx?

Monitor: Does what monitor I want (144hz 1080) change anything when it comes to the PC parts? I read somewhere that monitor/CPU/GPU decisions can be linked.

Thanks <3

Tried to answer some of own questions, here's what I came up with. Went with the minimum for a few of the parts, as long as it had good reviews, couldn't tell if I needed something more expensive or not (at least when it comes to the Mobo, PSU and monitor).

yep, you're better off with 1600 instead of 1600x. They're basically the same, but 1600x is slightly clocked higher. You can overclock the 1600 and match the speeds of 1600x as well, when you feel the need to. Honestly, you won't even notice much difference with your naked eyes tho. and ya u can get an aftermarket cpu cooler later on whenever you feel like it.

The motherboard you picked is good for the $$$ you pay, but i've had several issues with asrock motherboards in the past in short amount of time and pretty much steered away from em since. However, when it works, it's awesome and there are others that still prefer to pay little, and get most out of it. Though i personally prefer to pay a bit more and go for asus/gigabyte boards as they're more reliable from my personal exp, and msi isn't so behind them either. Alternative mobo's you could choose from are msi b350 pc mate, b350 gaming plus, gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 but right now i'd ignore all those and get asus prime x370-a for $99 on amazon. Especially since ur not in a rush. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716ZHGKF/?tag=pcpapi-20

ram is ram at the end of the day, so whichever brand you get doesn't really matter as long as they got life time warranty. Ram is one of the parts the price changes constantly, and the one you picked are gg and looks nice too. Gskill is one of the popular brands. Ryzen CPU performs better with higher ram speeds, so higher the better is the way to go. However it also depends how much extra you're paying over 3000mhz vs 3200mhz. If the price gap isn't that bad, just get the 3200. But if you're paying like $100 more for that extra 200mhz speed, it's not worth it. The one you picked out is 3200mhz, looks nice, and fits under ur budget, so go with it imo. Or just wait and see if price will drop.

ssd these days are all pretty reliable, crucial mx gives the most GB at decent speeds (275gb), samsung are best selling becuase they make all the parts themselves etc. i usually go with samsung since the price difference isn't much now.

the power supply you picked is good, but it isn't modular. which means all the cables from the psu's aren't detachable. Not really a big problem tho, cuz u can just get a case with psu cover to make up for it. The quality cases with psu cover are usually around 60-65usd. Either that, or pay slightly more for semimodular/modular psu and just get whichever case you want for around $30-50.
600w is more than enough, unless u think ull do something like SLI/Crossfire some power hungry GPU's together, overclock etc. in the future then it might be close. Also bronze/gold just means efficiency, wouldn't worry about those over quality. The gold ones are more efficient, and usually have longer warranties like 5-10+ yrs vs 3-5yrs for bronze.

case is personal preference, and some good quality cases do occasionally go on sale, so maybe you can hold off on it in the meantime. For keyboard/mouse i'd just get a $10-20 microsoft one for now, and when you feel like you want a mechanical kb just get it later cos they're more pricey

^ Thanks :D

Mobo: I guess I'll wait for a price drop for one of those you mentioned, if they're all about in the same class.

PSU: I don't really care about the PC looking "clean" on the inside, so hanging cables don't really matter to me. Is a PSU cover necessary?

Case: Would a mid-tower work or do I need the full? Assuming I probably won't be adding/changing the components in the future, I imagine mid would work.
