I think it's worse than the other clubs I listed, which despite being disgustingly doped and I despise them for it, at least had a history behind them and were all topflight teams.

what you say is correct, but i would like to add that football has a long history and fanbase in leipzig, especially in the eastern german state back then
i dont need to tell you how much of a disadvantage teams from the east still have, so i am happy that they can enjoy bundesliga football
the project in leipzig comes with reasonable investment and is extremely professional
i always find it weird that people are so hard on that club, while nobody talks about billionaire kühne who has kept hamburg alive for many years by now
