"Pakistan urges U.S. to tackle militant sanctuaries in Afghanistan."

Is that a bad joke, maybe?

I mean, last I recall, the Taliban originated in Pakistan and has taken up residence in Afghanistan ever since.

Likewise, they have worked side by side with most other "militant" groups.

Those dirty Paks need to deal with their own stinky laundry before ordering around anyone else.

Well yeah. It's Pakistan trying to sound like angels.
Trump already told Pakistan that he knew they had harbored Islamic terrorist leaders and groups.

I guess this was Pakistan's response.

Just to be sure:

You realize that Myanmar is not the middle east ?

The conflicts are all somewhat interesting and could deserve a topic, I'm somewhat feeling we are bundling shit together to talk shit here.. I'm ok with the latter part ;)

I know where Myanmar is. However, I wanted tyo include all the news items that were about Muslim terrorists as well.
I just figured "bundling" was better...rather than 10 different topics.

It originated as a more ethnic difference including monks burning down houses of Muslims. It has only recently got backed up by religion. It's an interesting subject to see how racial differences has moved towards religion differences. I'd like to be encouraged to read about the subject when a topic like it got presented. But you basically can't throw it on one heap without looking at historical relevance for the conflicts being as they are.

It's good to read up about the middle east though. There's a lot of chaos going on there, we need to understand it better. It tends to also makes us feel like we live the good life, compared to the rest of the world.
