I would have hoped someone had the sense to keep tracking Trump's crimes in my long absence, at the very least adding no-brainers like obstruction of justice (however many total instances is open to debate) and witness tampering (tweeting re: Comey's testimony), but I'll just go ahead and add them myself for posterity if we survive the inevitable nuclear war.

Looks like those two are #28 and #29; the original list was supplemented by the revelations of Trump's sexual assault against various women (#23), obstruction of justice at Trump Org (#24), his daily violation of the Emoluments Clause (#25), and violating the Logan Act via Mike Flynn (#26). For simplicity I've just held out (#27) in reserve for a broad "campaign/Russia/WikiLeaks/foreign actor collusion" category.

If I've overlooked a Trump crime feel free to submit it. Otherwise, ramble incoherently at your leisure.

One shitty consequence of the dial only turning from 0-10 is that if someone turns it to "10" and keeps it there for long enough, "10" starts to feel like "5" for some people. That is unacceptable.



Perhaps it was. I haven't checked the forum in several months so honestly I really wouldn't know. I started this pre-election to blow the smoke away from the nonsensical claims that 1) "both candidates are the same/crooked/criminals" and 2) Hillary Clinton is the REAL criminal!, and as much as Trump is haunted by the 3-in-1 Russia scandal, it's important for people to realize that he's been breaking the law for 50 years. It's in his blood. It's his natural disposition. His lawbreaking is deeper than trying to worm his way out of being exposed on Russia.

If your thread cataloged instances of lawbreaking or even just Trump skirting the law, then by all means: share the links here and strengthen the list.

I'm not sure why you're still peddling that same tired angle. Every time you recycle that comment I made 16 months before Election Day, all you accomplish is validating that I was able to correctly envision the exact campaign dynamic we ended up getting, country-wide. The same would have been true for the Electoral College had the Comey letters never happened.

Every single entity involved has already acknowledged their decisive electoral impact, including Trump's own campaign staff (and on multiple occasions). I'm not sure what you get out of denying just basic facts that are agreed-upon by all parties.
